We
all need to stop and look around and really think about what is going on around
us. Those of us who do that might be able to see that we aren’t the only ones
in the world and that there are actually people who are struggling and having a
rough life. Many people are just going on through life confused and ignoring
all the chaos. We never really care and we just keep missing it all. The broken
hearted, the forgotten, the bullied, the abused, the so called normal people,
they all have something that is wrong or bothering them, but no one pays any
attention. Those people put smiles on so nobody can tell. They try to go on as
if they don’t need anyone to help or care but those are the people who need to
most help. If they were to be cared about and not just passed over the world
might be a lot better place. Those who get bullied are more likely to commit suicide
because they can’t take the constant abuse. Those who were abused are more
likely to commit the same crimes. If we would care to help these people we
might not lose them to something bad.
All of us have done it before, we
have lied to just get on pass and we never thought we were wrong. But if we
take a minute to really see what is happening and what is actually bothering
people we might be able to see who people really are and help them if they want
it or need it. Even though these people might be far beyond your reach you can
always try. Helping somebody never hurt anyone. In the end it could help them
and it could help you become a better person than you ever were before.
So
from now on don’t just ignore those who are looking like they might be having a
bad day. If you go to school with them or you work with them just check and
make sure everything is okay. By you doing that you might have just saved a
life if they had thoughts that nobody cared about them. You never know whose
day you will brighten. If you are the one having a tough time there are always
somebody out there that will help you and care. You might have to just find
them whether it be a boyfriend/girlfriend, best friend, your mom/dad, or a
teacher. No one is ever alone in this world!

Eyes of The Invisible
“Give me your eyes for just one second;
Give me your eyes so I can see everything that I keep missing; Give me your
love for humanity; Give me your arms for the broken hearted, the ones that are
far beyond my reach? Give me your heart for the one's forgotten; Give me your
eyes so I can see.”
“Give Me Your Eyes” by Brandon Heath
I totally agree with this. Everyone needs to stop and realize that they aren't the only person struggling and that everyone needs help at one point in their life. I love that this is pushing people to lend a helping hand and it's inspiring me to remind myself to do just that.
